Our coaching staff is the cornerstone of the club. Every coach on staff is committed to the success of our club, the teams they lead, and every player under their development. This year’s coaching staff is the best collection of high-quality coaches in Orlando. Our staff is more than coaches – they are teachers of the game and strive to develop each player to their highest potential.
Our staff includes highly decorated and credentialed coaches with an average of over 5 years coaching within the Orlando City system. Every coach leading a competitive team holds a nationally recognized license. Our coaching staff holds 8 “A” or “Pro” licenses, 8 coaches holding USSF “B” licenses, and an additional 10 coaches holding a “C” level license.
Not only are our coaches highly credentialed, they are also students of the game and are continuously improving by regularly participating in camps, clinics, and conferences as well as learning from and exchanging ideas with the best coaching staff in MLS.
Executive Director Dave Dir and Technical Director Paul Shaw work closely with the staff to ensure a competitive environment focused on assisting each player reach their potential. Coach Dir joined the club in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of professional and youth club development experience. Paul Shaw has been a staple at the club for the last decade. Coach Shaw works with the staff on the implementation of the club’s curriculum and oversees player development.
Led by Girls' Elite Director Robbie Gobble, this year’s coaching staff to lead our girls’ teams feature many returning coaches and a few exciting new faces. We have carefully paired each coach with team and individual development in mind. From our nationally competitive ECNL teams to our pre-academy junior teams, every OCSS - Seminole team is led by an exceptional member of our club.
