The Girls College Insight Camp will be held from June 12 to June 15 at Seminole Soccer Complex. It is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm each day and the cost is 350.00 for the week.
The camp will be run by Coach Robbie Gobble and Coach Dan Nolan, and there will be 2 former Orlando City players that currently play Collegiate Soccer each day to help run the camp. During this camp, the focus will be specific positional play, team attacking and defending, and 11v11 games. Each day the 2 college players will not only be involved in the session but will also each have a 15-minute question-and-answer talk on various topics about college soccer, such as the recruitment process, balancing academics with soccer, adjusting to the size and speed of college soccer, the biggest joys of the college game, and more. This gives the younger players the opportunity to hear firsthand specifics about the college game from players living it today. There will also be a few guest speakers throughout the week to give additional insight into soccer and what it means to them as a part of their life.
This camp is only for Orlando City players registered for the 23/24 season and you have to be a sophomore or older to attend. Any freshman interested need to contact Coach Robbie Gobble directly. There are a limited number of spots so sign up online before it's too late. Any questions regarding specifics about the camp please contact Robbie Gobble.
